Valais Blacknose
Known for their distinctive dark faces and wonderfully characterful fleece, Valais Blacknose sheep bring a gentle, curious presence to the farm. We are developing our flock with an emphasis on health, sound structure and the friendly, manageable nature that makes this breed so special.
Our starter herd came from one of Irelands best breeders - and we started with "Gordon Ramsey" a UK imported male. This resulted in a genetically diverse and strong starter herd from which to build. All of our stock are ARQ-ARQ genetic test confirmed and we are working our way up to entering the show ring next year.
